Press Releases
McNees paralegal Terry Snyder has been named the recipient of the 2025 Suzanne Mayers Tribute Award, presented by the Pennsylvania Chapter of Women in Public Finance (WPF). Terry has been selected due to her years of experience in financial services, as well as her leadership of fellow paralegals and women in law.
The Suzanne Mayers Tribute Award is presented at the discretion of the WPF, Pennsylvania Chapter board. The recipient is one who has made extraordinary and fundamental contributions to the organization, as well as its mission of promoting women in public finance through education and relationships. Only three other individuals and organizations have received the award since its inception in 2016, highlighting the breadth of Terry’s influence in WPF and in the profession.
“Terry is a core part of McNees’ financial services team,” said Donna Kreiser, McNees vice chair emeritus and founding board member of WPF, Pennsylvania Chapter. “But more importantly, she is a renowned mentor for the women of the firm and the financial field. I’m thrilled to see her receive this recognition.”
Terry has 35 years of experience as a paralegal in financial services and public finance. A part of the firm’s Financial Services and Public Finance & Government Services Groups, Terry works alongside attorneys to assist municipalities, banks, non-profits, and other institutions. Additionally, she assists attorneys across the firm’s practice areas in document organization, drafting, and settlements. For many women in the legal field, attorneys and paralegals alike, Terry is a trusted mentor and collaborator.
In addition to her work at the firm, Terry is involved with several professional organizations. She is a member and past president of the WPF, Pennsylvania Chapter. Additionally, she is an active member of the National Association of Bond Lawyers and was one of the first paralegals to request attendance at the Pennsylvania Association of Bond Lawyers annual seminar, an event she continues to attend annually.
Terry was honored as the award recipient at the WPF, Pennsylvania Chapter’s annual event in Philadelphia, PA, on November 12. As her longtime colleague and nominator, Donna Kreiser will present Terry with the award.
