HARRISBURG, PA (June 23, 2016) – McNees Wallace & Nurick LLC attorney Rachel Hadrick has been chosen as a member of the PBA Class of 2016-2017.

The Bar Leadership Institute is designed to provide emerging leaders, representing a broad cross-section of the diversity of the PBA membership, with an opportunity to learn about the PBA while actively participating in key meetings. Participation in the Bar Leadership Institute provides numerous opportunities to network with PBA members and leadership and helps build lasting relationships that will serve as an invaluable resource for future success.

“The institute develops the next generation of leaders for the state’s largest bar association by giving selected young lawyers an up close look at the PBA’s operations, governance and member resources,” said PBA President William H. Pugh V. “During the year-long program, each class member attends a variety of PBA meetings and events and is paired with a member of the PBA Board of Governors who serves as mentor to the participant.”

Rachel is an Associate in the McNees Litigation and Insurance Groups. While in law school, Rachel participated in the Harrisburg Civil Law Clinic, representing indigent clients in civil matters.

Prior to attending law school, Rachel worked in student services at a private liberal arts college, where her primary areas were residence life and diversity. In addition to supporting students and addressing particular student needs, Rachel also conducted trainings and worked to develop college-wide initiatives.

Rachel received her J.D. from Widener University Commonwealth Law School and her undergraduate degree from Lebanon Valley College.  She is admitted to practice in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and before the Federal District Courts for the Eastern, Middle and Western Districts of Pennsylvania.
