McNees Employees Roll Up Their Sleeves and Volunteer at Mission Central

HARRISBURG, Pa. – (April 25, 2018) Several employees at McNees Wallace & Nurick LLC volunteered at Mission Central in Mechanicsburg on Friday, April 13, 2018.  Participants helped with Mission Central’s flood relief effort, sorted items for distribution and conducted yard work around the facility.

A total of 11 employees spent half of their workday at Mission Central.  Daphne Moore and Tricia Cordivano separated books into various genres.  Lisa Barker, Sarah Bede, Connie Collins, Tracy Finkenbinder, Dana Grubb, Kathi Lipinsky, Jill Seaman and Cathy Wright verified cleaning kits to be used for flood relief.  Yard clean-up was taken on by Kristen Grendzinski.

Mission Central is the warehouse of the Susquehanna Conference of the United Methodist Church.  It focuses on disaster response, mission outreach and mission education. With the help of volunteers, it assembles various relief kits for use around the world.

McNees Wallace & Nurick LLC offers each of its staff members half a day of paid volunteer time to be used each year.
