McNees Land Planning Specialist to Teach Course for Pa. Municipal Planning Education Institute

HARRISBURG, Pa. – (February 26, 2019) McNees Wallace & Nurick LLC land planning specialist Christopher Knarr, AICP is slated to teach a community planning course on behalf of the Pennsylvania Municipal Planning Education Institute in Lancaster on March 6, 13 and 20.

The course designed for both new and experienced planning commissioners and officers will cover basic knowledge of the Municipalities Planning Code; comprehensive planning; plan implementation including zoning, subdivision and land development regulations; the Official Map; and how effective planning commissions work together.

Chris is a land planning specialist in the McNees Real Estate Group focused on assisting commercial and residential clients and other landowners in a variety of matters before municipal planning commissions, governing bodies and zoning hearing boards.  As a certified planner (American Institute of Certified Planners), building code official (Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry), and zoning officer (Pennsylvania Association of Zoning Officials), Chris’ work includes assistance with all forms of development approvals, zoning relief, as well as zoning amendments and challenges.
