McNees Chairman, David M. Kleppinger, Elected PA Chamber Vice-Chair

HARRISBURG, PA. (Dec. 4, 2015) – McNees Wallace & Nurick LLC Chairman, David M. Kleppinger, has been elected Vice-Chair of the Pennsylvania Chamber of Business and Industry, the largest broad-based business association in Pennsylvania. The PA Chamber acts as “The Statewide Voice of Business™” and articulates and advocates on those public policy issues that will expand private sector job creation and lead to a more prosperous Pennsylvania.

Kleppinger, who has been recognized by “The Best Lawyers in America®” since 1991, is Chair of the firm’s Management Committee, Chair of the Political Action Committee, and is an ex officio member of all other firm committees. He joined the firm in 1980 and has served as Chairman since 2006.

As a member of the firm’s Energy & Environmental and Government Relations Practice Groups, Kleppinger represents large commercial and industrial consumers and providers of fixed utility services including electricity, natural gas, water/wastewater, and communications. A leading expert in his field, Kleppinger has led legislative and regulatory initiatives to restructure these industries for customer benefit and has appeared before over 15 state public utility commissions, the FERC, and numerous state and federal appellate courts.

Kleppinger is a member of the American Bar Association and the Pennsylvania Bar Association. He received his J.D. from Temple University School of Law and B.A. from The Pennsylvania State University.
