McNees Attorney, Vasiliki Karandrikas, Elected Chair of Pennsylvania Bar Association’s Public Utility Law Section

HARRISBURG, PA. (May 19, 2015) – Vasiliki (“Vicki”) Karandrikas, attorney  at McNees Wallace & Nurick LLC in Harrisburg, was recently elected to serve a one-year term as Chair of the Pennsylvania Bar Association’s Public Utility Law Section.

As part of her practice, in the Energy & Environmental Law Group, Karandrikas counsels and advises clients on matters involving the regulation of utility services, particularly in competitive electric and natural gas markets appearing before multiple state regulatory agencies, the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, and appellate courts.

Karandrikas has gained experience with energy markets, including renewable energy credit trading and compliance, through active participation on behalf of clients in wholesale energy market stakeholder processes in the Mid-Atlantic and New England regions.

In addition, she has experience with evaluating issues and analyzing the impacts of energy-related legislation and regulations and representing large industrial and commercial consumers in related implementation proceedings.

Karandrikas received her J.D. from The American University School of Law and her undergraduate degree from The Pennsylvania State University. She is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and serves on the March of Dimes, Central Pennsylvania Division, Board of Directors.
