McNees Attorney to Speak on COVID-19’s Impact on Wireless Communications Infrastructure

HARRISBURG, Pa. – (September 1, 2020) McNees Wallace & Nurick LLC attorney Jamie Strong is slated to present an online lunch and learn regarding COVID-19 and wireless communication infrastructure for the Cumberland County Planning Department and Cumberland Area Economic Development Corporation on Thursday, September 10, 2020.

Jamie, along with David Kerr of AT&T and Jamie Keener of the Cumberland Area Economic Development Corporation, will explain how the pandemic brought to light the need for wireless communication infrastructure with broad coverage and robust capacity.  The trio will discuss wireless communication trends, projections for coverage and capacity after the pandemic, and ways in which communities can help or inhibit the deployment of wireless communication facilities.

Jamie practices in the McNees Real Estate Practice Group, where he primarily represents wireless telecommunications providers and tower companies in land use and leasing matters.  He advises his clients in zoning and land use proceedings before municipal planning commissions, governing bodies and zoning hearing boards throughout Pennsylvania.  He also represents clients in the acquisition, sale, development and leasing of real estate.
