McNees Attorney Anthony Hoover to Present “Equitable Distribution” Case Law Update at the Pennsylvania Bar Association’s Summer Meeting

Harrisburg, PA. (June 12, 2015) – Anthony M. Hoover to present a case law update on “Equitable Distribution” at the PBA Family Law Section’s Summer Meeting in White Sulphur Springs, WV.

The meeting will take place Thursday, July 9, through Sunday, July 12 at The Greenbrier; 300 W. Main Street, White Sulphur Springs, WV 24986.  Registration is $495 for PBA Section Members; $615 for PBA Members, Non-Section Members; $715 for Non-PBA Members; $320 for Judges and Judicial Law Clerks and those in practice three years or less. Hoover, an Associate attorney in the McNees Family Law practice Group, practices in the area of divorce, support, child custody, property distribution and alimony.  He has presented Family Law issues to both Dauphin County and Pennsylvania Bar Associations and was a Law Day presenter with the Cumberland County Bar Association and has authored a number of articles on the subject matter.  Hoover currently serves on the Board of the Community Justice Project and was recently named to the 2015-16 class of the Pennsylvania Bar Association’s Bar Leadership Institute.

The “Equitable Distribution Case Law Update will include developments in area of equitable distribution. This area of law includes an identification of  which assets are subject to distribution, and once identified, a determination of how the assets are allocated between the parties.
