McNees Wallace & Nurick’s Construction Law Group has been ranked Band 3 in Construction (Pennsylvania) in the Chambers USA 2025 Guide. This recognition reflects the group’s strong track record advising clients across the construction industry on complex legal and regulatory matters.
Chambers and Partners is a globally respected legal ranking organization that evaluates law firms through client interviews, peer reviews, and independent research. A Chambers ranking is widely seen as one of the industry’s most credible marks of excellence.
In its editorial, Chambers USA describes McNees as having “a construction department experienced in handling a variety of projects and disputes” and “well equipped to represent clients in both state and federal courts.” Client feedback received by Chambers also praised the team, stating: “The lawyers have a good construction practice” and “The firm has great attorneys.”
This ranking underscores the group’s broad capabilities across project lifecycles, from procurement and contracting to litigation and dispute resolution. The team regularly advises on matters involving public bidding, professional liability, wage and payment laws, mechanics’ liens, licensure, and compliance. When disputes arise, McNees represents clients before courts, arbitration panels, and administrative agencies at every level.
The group includes more than 20 attorneys and professionals. In 2025, the group experienced significant growth and welcomed seasoned practitioners Richard Kalinowski (Radnor, PA), Tom Davies (Lancaster, PA), Veronica Morrison (Harrisburg, PA), and David Cole (Towson, MD).
Also recognized in the Chambers USA 2025 Guide were McNees’ Energy and Environmental Group and attorney Martha “Frannie” Reilly for Public Finance.
