McNees Wallace & Nurick represented nationally recognized engineering and science firm ARM Group LLC in its recently announced acquisition of Resource International Ltd, a full-service consulting, engineering and construction services firm.
Headquartered in Hershey, Pa., ARM Group provides civil/environmental, electrical/automation and technical field services in the Mid-Atlantic region for those in the solid waste; energy; development and construction; industrial and manufacturing; water; mine and quarry; and transportation markets. The acquisition of Resource International, based in Virginia, enables ARM to further expand key practices, including solid waste, renewable energy and geo-environmental, in that market.
With 25 talented engineers, surveyors, scientists and support staff specializing in civil/engineering, surveying and environmental consulting, the newly formed ARM Resource is also well positioned to better serve its Mid-Atlantic customers while providing additional capacity and resources across the combined organization.
The McNees team was led by member attorney Timothy M. Finnerty and included associate attorney Frank J. Lavery, III, both with the firm’s Corporate & Tax Law Group. They provided strategic legal advice and worked closely with ARM’s leaders and advisors on the full scope of the deal, from negotiating the deal to closing the transaction.
