McNees Attorneys to Present on Tax and Family Law at PBI Seminar

HARRISBURG, Pa. – (Tuesday, December 4, 2018) McNees Wallace & Nurick LLC attorneys Tim Finnerty and J. Paul Helvy are slated to present at The Year in Review for the General Practitioner 2018 hosted by the Pennsylvania Bar Institute in Mechanicsburg on December 19, 2018.

Tim, Co-Chair of the McNees Corporate and Tax Practice Group, will detail how the tax cuts and jobs acts is impacting legal practices.

Tim focuses his legal practice on federal taxation, corporate law and estate planning. He acts as outside corporate counsel to several closely held companies. As a CPA, he also advises his corporate clients and their owners on tax planning and other transactional issues, including structuring mergers, acquisitions, tax-free/deferred exchanges, financings, entity formations and liquidations.

Paul, Chair of the McNees Family Law Practice Group, will provide a family law legal update at the seminar.

Paul has been practicing Domestic and Family Law since his admission to the Bar in 1988. He is a past Chair of the Pennsylvania Bar Association, Family Law Section. He has chaired the Legislative, Membership and Program Committees of the PBA Family Law Section and has testified before the House of Representatives Judiciary Committee regarding pending family law legislation. He is a member of the International Academy of Collaborative Professionals and the Central Pennsylvania Collaborative Professionals.
