Samuel Randazzo, Kevin Murray, Matthew Pritchard and Joseph Bowser from McNees Wallace & Nurick will be presenting at the 12th Annual Northern Ohio Energy Management Conference on Tuesday, September 19 from 7:30 a.m. to 4:15 p.m.

The conference will be held at the John S. Knight Convention Center in Akron, Ohio, and offers attendees the best practices to reduce energy costs, savings opportunities for FirstEnergy customers, and how to implement a massive energy spend decrease.

Randazzo, a main panel participant, will present, “Rapidly-Changing Energy Markets — Major Developments in Ohio’s Electricity Marketplace Impacting Electric Rates Including Legislation in the Ohio General Assembly.”

Pritchard will present the workshop, “FirstEnergy: Electric Rates & Tariffs, Recent Changes to ESP Shopping Opportunities, PJM Capacity Auctions Update, Demand Response, and Ohio Energy Efficiency & Peak Reduction Mandates Update/Opportunities and Significant Factors Driving Rates.”

Murray will present the workshop, “PJM 101 … Insights into the Regional Electricity Markets Operated by PJM and How Electricity Prices are Impacted.”

Bowser will present the workshop, “Rapidly-Increasing Transmission Charges & Capacity Costs, Actionable Steps to Mitigate them and Emergency Demand Response.”
