Profile

Teresa is a family law attorney who takes a client-centered approach to every case – she works with each client to establish individual goals and discuss long-term consequences. A passionate advocate for her clients in and out of the courtroom, Teresa is sensitive to the complicated emotional and legal aspects of a family’s dissolution and treats each client with care and compassion. She takes pride in serving her clients efficiently, providing practical advice suitable for each client’s individual needs.

Teresa has dedicated her entire legal career to advocating for families and children. Her practice includes all aspects of divorce, equitable distribution, child and spousal support, alimony, prenuptial and postnuptial agreements, child custody, grandparents’ rights and stepparent adoptions. Teresa is a skillful writer and enjoys handling appeals for the family law practice group. She has significant experience handling high-conflict and high-net-worth matters and she is familiar with the unique challenges that come with cases involving business ownership, stock options and other complex assets.

Since 2017, Teresa has practiced collaborative law – she supports a client’s choice in the process, as well as representation, when resolving disputes. She is active in the Collaborative Professionals of Central Pennsylvania and has served as Co-President of the organization since 2021. Teresa has been certified as a mediator in family law matters since 2022, providing yet another option for families to resolve their disputes without litigation.

Prior to joining McNees, Teresa practiced family law at a Hershey-based firm. She also served as a law clerk to the Honorable David R. Workman, Lancaster County Court of Common Pleas, where she worked on family law and juvenile delinquency matters. In her free time, you can find Teresa by any body of water, whether it is the ocean, a lake or her local pool. When it is not warm enough for swimming, Teresa enjoys live theater, a good slice of pizza, traveling and reading.
