Peg Callahan Kuskin remains one of the premier lobbyists in Harrisburg with strong contacts on both sides of the political aisle. She served as Senior Associate with Public Affairs Management and as Senior Partner with McNees-Winter Group LLC. Some of her successes have included the enactment of legislation requiring vaccinations for college students and seniors, landmark “scope of practice” legislation for health care professional groups, new programs for pharmaceutical management in the state, extended benefits for correctional facility employees, and the state’s first comprehensive regulation of fireworks. Peg has been “at the table” on issues affecting health care professionals, community and economic development, the hospitality industry and manufacturing concerns. She has also been instrumental in procurement issues and budget related matters for private corporations and non-profit organizations.

Prior to her governmental relations career, Peg worked with the Republican leadership in the Pennsylvania Senate as a legislative specialist and has served as a special assistant to the Pennsylvania Secretary for Commerce. She was also the Legislative Director for the Pennsylvania Housing Finance Authority. For several years, Peg owned and operated her own small business in the insurance restoration field.

Peg has been active in Community Theater and several philanthropic organizations.

Peg holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Bloomsburg University Psychology and a Masters Degree from Penn State in Community Psychology. For a time, Peg owned and operated her own small business in the insurance restoration field.

Peg is married to Dr. Lou Kuskin and is the mother of two daughters.
