Chip started and directs the Personal Injury division within the firm’s Litigation Group.

In the twenty-eight years since Chip was admitted to the Pennsylvania Bar, he has increasingly focused his time and effort on helping firm clients, individuals, and families who have been injured through the negligence of others.  His background as a skilled trial attorney, psychologist, educator, and mediator has made him exceptionally qualified to help people who have suffered serious misfortune navigate the uncertain waters of negotiation, arbitration, and trial.  His clients range from infants to the elderly, single adults to entire families (along with their pets) and blue-collar laborers to the highly educated business people and professionals.  He has tried cases from Pittsburgh to Philadelphia and several counties in between with only one goal: to aggressively champion the rights of people whose lives are forever changed by the carelessness and neglect of others.

McNees is a law firm that is constantly looking at ways to expand its range of services to our clients.

Chip’s arrival at the firm eight years ago has provided our clients with unique legal representation so that their life-altering tragedies can be handled in what central Pennsylvania has come to know as the “McNees” way.  Whether pursuing solutions through mediation and settlement or, if necessary, trial, Chip works hand-in-hand with clients so that they understand their choices and actively participate in the resolution of their cases.

At various times in the last five years, Chip’s clients have obtained record verdicts in Dauphin County in both jury trials (Wrongful Death) and non-jury trials (Personal Injury).  He has also successfully handled the less conventional personal injury cases involving abuse of children, elder abuse, wrongful police chases resulting in civilian injuries, insurance bad faith and professional malpractice.
