Carol practices in the Real Estate Group working on a variety of construction law and transactional matters. Carol represents clients in the development, leasing, purchase and sale of real estate. She has extensive experience negotiating deals of all sizes from letter of intent through agreement of sale, due diligence, and closing. In addition, Carol assists clients in obtaining and negotiating favorable financing for projects and review of loan documents. Finally, Carol’s practice includes the development of residential and commercial condominiums and planned communities.
Prior to joining McNees, Carol worked in a general practice law firm where, in addition to practicing real estate law and running the firm’s affiliated title agency, she represented lenders in structuring and drafting financing documents, negotiated workouts and debt restructuring, as well as foreclosed on real estate. Carol also represented large and small businesses in all aspects of corporate law and governance and assisted clients with mergers, acquisitions and sales of businesses.
