Avery Walke practices in the Energy and Environmental Law Group. She primarily represents clients before the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission and the Public Utilities Commission of Ohio.
What does Avery do for Clients?
Avery works with the McNees Energy and Environmental Law Group legal and technical experts to address each client’s unique, specific needs in an array of energy regulatory and transactional matters. She represents clients at the state and federal level to deliver proactive solutions.
Prior to joining McNees, Avery clerked for a Midwestern law firm where she worked on litigation and transactional matters involving commercial disputes. She also has experience working with the St. Clair County State’s Attorney’s Office in Illinois and the Wrongful Conviction Clinic in Missouri.
How does Avery spend her free time?
Avery can usually be found walking her dog, Finn, in the kitchen cooking, or at home in Appalachia visiting her family. Avery is also passionate about travel, art, music, and writing, and is normally not far from her sketchpad.
