McNees attorney Sarah Ivy to speak at The BTEA Affordable Care/Paid Family Leave Seminar

LANCASTER, PA (October 21, 2016) – McNees Wallace & Nurick attorney Sarah Ivy will speak at the Building Trades Employers Association (BTEA) Affordable Care/Paid Family Leave seminar on Wednesday, October 26, 2016 at The Manhattan Club in New York City.
Ivy, who practices in the firm’s Employee Benefits and Executive Compensation and Labor and Employment groups, will be the sole attorney on a panel of speakers. She will give a presentation on the Affordable Care Act. Specifically, she will convey how businesses can be compliant in providing Obamacare to employees.
Ivy focuses her practice primarily in the areas of the Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA), employee benefits and executive compensation. She has extensive experience analyzing the rules and regulations under the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, and the Employee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974. She has significant knowledge regarding the deferred compensation requirements of Code Section 409A and experience working with closely held businesses in using ESOPs as a business succession planning tool.
Additionally, Ivy is a frequent speaker and presenter on the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA). Last June, Ivy was a presenter at the 26th Annual Labor & Employment Seminar in Hershey, PA, and has written extensively about the PPACA.
The BTEA Affordable Care/Paid Family Leave Seminar is scheduled from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. at The Manhattan Club, located at 201 West 52nd Street, New York, NY and tickets are $125 per person.
