Joshua Cohen named President of the Jewish Community Alliance of Lancaster

McNees Wallace & Nurick is pleased to announce that Joshua Cohen, a corporate and tax attorney, has been named President of the Board of the Jewish Community Alliance of Lancaster (JCAL).
JCAL is a nonprofit organization that promotes Jewish life in Lancaster through educational initiatives, community-wide events, and support for families, congregations, and partner organizations.
In the leadership role, Cohen will support the JCAL’s local initiatives, which include summer camp scholarships, immersive educational experiences for students, community-wide celebrations such as the Red Rose menorah lighting in Penn Square during Chanukah, and Holocaust remembrance programming.
“The Jewish Community Alliance of Lancaster plays a critical role in sustaining and enriching Jewish life in our region,” Josh said. “I am honored to serve as board president and to support its mission in the community.”
Josh advises clients on complex commercial transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, borrower-side financing, business restructuring, and contract negotiation. He works with family-owned businesses, multinational corporations, and nonprofit organizations.
