Legal Billing Coordinator

McNees Wallace & Nurick is currently seeking a remote Legal Billing Coordinator to join our client billing team.  Prior legal or professional service organization experience preferred, but we are willing to train a well-qualified applicant with experience outside of these areas.

Remote (with willingness to travel to a McNees office location as needed for meetings/training)

Sampling of Responsibilities:
Accurately generate client invoices (both paper and electronic) in high volume; assess and implement complex billing processes based on client requirements; ensure billing processes are in compliance with established firm policies and procedures; resolve invoicing issues after submission to clients, including (but not limited to) payment issues and monitoring client e-billing systems; and collaborate with other team members and administrative departments.

Skills and Experience:
Strong interpersonal skills, excellent oral and written communication skills; self-motivation and flexibility to meet the changing demands of the position; ability to work independently while organizing and prioritizing numerous projects/tasks with competing deadlines; proficient knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel; and ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with the appropriate discretion.  Preference of experience in a professional service organization.
