Executive Director – Keystone Municipal Solutions

Position Type: Professional Staff

Keystone Municipal Solutions (KMS), a team of professionals with decades of experience helping townships, boroughs, and municipalities navigate varied and complex matters, is seeking a new Executive Director. The successful candidate will have significant experience working in municipal government in Pennsylvania and will be self-motivated to take KMS’ expanding team and capabilities to the next level.

The Executive Director will be based in Central, PA and will be an entrepreneurial leader who can leverage their experience and established networks to provide a wide array of support and creative solutions to municipalities across Pennsylvania.

Primary duties of the Executive Director will include assisting as interim manager for municipalities as needed, finding and placing municipal managers, participating in municipal consulting and strategic planning teams, managing and growing the KMS team, and leading overall strategy and business development activities for KMS.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • 5- 10 years of municipal management experience in Pennsylvania
  • Undergraduate degree; master’s in public administration preferred
  • Ability to serve as interim manager for KMS clients
  • Past and current participate in Municipal Manager Associations preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Capable of balancing multiple priorities effectively
  • Highly organized and detail oriented
