The McNees Strategic Solutions Group is a full-service government affairs, grassroots advocacy and non-profit consulting group. Our diverse team of lobbyists, government relations specialists, grassroots professionals and non-profit experts have the experience and relationships necessary to deliver results for public sector, private sector, and non-profit clients alike. Angie is a government relations professional with over 18 years of experience in Harrisburg. Her duties include interaction with legislative and administrative officials in areas such as health care policy, economic development and tax policies, transportation issues, and procurement. Angie monitors regulatory developments, state contracts, and other state programs and communicates these items to clients on a regular basis.

What does Angie do for Clients?
Angie uses her years of experience and understanding of state government to advocate for clients on their issues. She helps facilitate connections for clients to administrative officials and, when a legislative solution is needed, to the right legislator for each particular issue. Angie has represented several health care provider associations for over a decade, giving her unique expertise in professional licensure issues, as well as overall health care policy. Angie is also able to provide guidance to clients on Pennsylvania’s intricate regulatory process. For seven years Angie was also the Managing Director of a large health care provider association, giving her insight into how membership organizations operate and are driven to serve their members.

Angie has worked with several nonprofit organizations throughout her career. These clients specialized service and often operate in conjunction with an overarching national organization. Angie has the experience needed to manage those relationships.

How does Angie spend her free time?
In her free time, Angie enjoys spending time with her husband Jim, their 2 children, 2 cats, and 2 dogs. She and her family enjoy exploring the many options for biking, hiking, camping, kayaking, and dining in and around mid-state Pennsylvania.
