2015 McNees Attorneys Serve As Editor and Co-Authors of the 8th Edition: Pennsylvania Environmental Law & Practice from PBI

HARRISBURG, PA (Sept. 21, 2015) – McNees attorneys Scott A. Gould and Richard H. Friedman played a prominent role in the new 8th Edition Pennsylvania Environmental Law & Practice from the Pennsylvania Business Institute.

Gould was a co-editor of the 2-volume treatise. Scott is Chair of the firm’s  Environmental Law and Toxic Tort Group. He also practices in the Oil and Gas and Food Industry groups. Gould received his J.D. from Syracuse University College of Law and his undergraduate degree from Old Dominion University.  He is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania.

Friedman authored Chapter 9: Federal Air Pollution Law and Regulations Affecting Pennsylvania.  He practices in the firm’s Environmental and Energy Law Group.  Friedman received his J.D. from the American University Washington College of Law and his undergraduate degree from the University of Maryland.  He is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania, Maryland and the District of Columbia.

Gould lectures regularly on behalf of various organizations, including the Pennsylvania Bar Institute and Pennsylvania Chamber of Business and Industry, and often serves as the course planner for key legal seminars.  Friedman is also a frequent speaker on environmental law topics, including lecturing as a faculty member of the Pennsylvania Bar Institute’s (PBI) Environmental Law Forum.
