Todd is a member of the White Collar Defense and Internal Investigations Group, a growing team of professionals who are dedicated to providing their clients with exceptional advice and representation at all levels of defense.   While Todd is an experienced trial attorney with multiple courtroom victories, his experience and attention to detail are often leveraged to successfully defend clients targeted by federal or state investigators.

What does Todd do for Clients?
Todd advises and represents public officials, companies, executives, health care providers, and other professionals who are the subject of state and federal investigations and prosecutions. He has defended clients in complex matters involving federal agencies such as the Department of Justice, Department of Health and Human Services, Federal Bureau of Investigation and Drug Enforcement Administration, and state agencies such as the Ohio Attorney General’s Office, Ohio Ethics Commission, and Ohio Inspector General.

How does Todd spend his free time?
Todd enjoys spending free time with his wife and children, strength training, and reading.

EXPERIENCE/REPRESENTATIVE CASES

Co-representation with McNees attorney Karl Schneider in Federal public corruption and fraud case which was dismissed pending the client’s successful completion of a 15-month diversion program.

Representation in multi-million-dollar health care and tax fraud case which resulted in a plea agreement for a sentence less than half of what was likely to be received.

Representation in aggravated burglary case which was dismissed based on alibi evidence proffered by the defense.  The case was later sealed by the Court on the defense’s motion.

Representation in felonious assault trial cases which resulted in acquittals based on self-defense.

Representation in aggravated vehicular homicide case filed after deadly crash.  Following a defense investigation, the Franklin County Coroner’s Office changed the cause of death from “accidental” to “natural,” resulting in the dismissal of all homicide charges.

Representation in fund embezzlement case.  Client received shorter sentence than what was recommended under sentencing guidelines.

Representation in domestic violence and assault trial cases which resulted in acquittals.

Co-representation in murder and robbery trial case.

Representation in sexual battery trial case which was later sealed by the Court on the defense’s motion.
