Charles J. Nebel joined McNees Wallace & Nurick as Chief Operating Officer in May 2017. Chuck joins McNees from Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP where he had served as Global Finance Director since 2004. He earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, his Master’s in Business Administration from Robert Morris College, and his Master of Science and Taxation from Duquesne University. He is also a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) licensed in PA.
His experience includes tax, internal audit, payroll, accounting, treasury and partner compensation & capital. Prior to Orrick, he worked in public accounting for PriceWaterhouseCoopers and another regional public accounting firm.
Chuck works closely with the Chairman and the Firm’s Executive Committee to provide both day-to-day management of all Firm functions as well as long-term strategic direction. He is responsible for the billing, finance, human resources, library resources and technology administrative functions at the Firm.
