HARRISBURG, Pa. — (Jan. 6, 2025) McNees Wallace & Nurick today announced the promotion of four of its attorneys to membership, effective. Jan. 1, 2025.
The firm’s newly elected members are:
Alexandra Ahlbrandt,
Amanda Kraft,
Courtney Wentzel and
Erica Wible.

- Alexandra Ahlbrandt is a corporate and tax attorney based in York, with a focus on healthcare mergers and acquisitions.
- Amanda Kraft is a construction law attorney based in Pittsburgh, with a focus on contracts and risk management.
- Courtney Wentzel is a Harrisburg-based litigator with significant experience in Pennsylvania fiduciary law, including guardianships, powers of attorney, will contests, elder law, trusts, and complex fiduciary litigation.

Ahlbrandt is based in McNees’ York office and serves clients with a focus on healthcare and corporate law – including corporate transactions, regulatory compliance and governance matters. She has deep experience in healthcare mergers, acquisitions, affiliations and reorganizations – working with various healthcare providers, including hospitals and health systems, long-term care facilities and ambulatory care centers on transactions, regulatory issues and other organizational needs.
Ahlbrandt joined McNees in 2018 after earning her law degree from Drexel University Thomas R. Kline School of Law. She serves on the board of Jessica & Friends Community, a faith-based nonprofit that provides services and support for individuals and families with autism and intellectual disabilities.
Kraft is a Pittsburgh-based construction attorney who advises clients nationally on a range of matters related to complex commercial, industrial, retail and mixed-use projects – including contract drafting and negotiation, project risk management, mechanics’ lien law, and contract compliance. She joined McNees in 2021 when the firm opened its first western Pennsylvania office.
Kraft earned her law degree from Duquesne University School of Law. She is an active member of ICSC and serves on the board of the Pittsburgh chapter of the National Association of Women in Construction, an organization that unites for the mutual benefit of women actively engaged in the various phases of the construction industry.
Wentzel is a litigator whose practice is primarily devoted to fiduciary matters in Orphans’ Courts throughout Pennsylvania, including guardianships, powers of attorney, will contests, elder law, trusts and sophisticated fiduciary litigation. Based in Harrisburg, she represents corporate fiduciaries, banks and professional guardianship agencies in complex trusts, estates and fiduciary risk management.
Wentzel joined McNees in 2020 after earning her law degree from Penn State Dickinson Law. As a member of McNees’ Pro Bono Committee, Wentzel oversees The Vista School Pro Bono Project providing legal services for parents of disabled adult children to obtain guardianships.
Wible is a Lancaster-based public finance, government services and corporate attorney. In addition to advising government issuers, school districts and nonprofit entities on tax-exempt and taxable transactions, she also represents both lenders and borrowers in traditional bank and commercial lending. She also has experience advising clients on public sector issues, such as election law and Pennsylvania’s Right to Know Law.
Beyond her work with government entities and nonprofits, Wible also has significant experience in automotive dealership transactions, advising clients on both dealership sales and acquisitions.
Wible joined McNees in 2017 after earning her law degree from the George Washington University Law School. She is president of the board of directors of the Pennsylvania Association of Bond Lawyers.
This year’s new membership class is just the latest example of McNees’ strong reputation as a top firm for women in law.
