Jonathan handles a wide variety of commercial matters, with an emphasis on those involving insurance and construction law.

He has experience in litigating a broad spectrum of insurance coverage cases involving both first and third party coverage. Jonathan has litigated cases involving both all risk and named peril first party insurance coverage and a wide variety of coverage disputes involving various forms of liability insurance. He handles all forms of commercial insurance coverage matters, including health and life insurance, as well as insurance issues in conjunction with ERISA plans.

Jonathan provides representation and counseling to owners, contractors and design professionals on construction related insurance coverage issues, construction failures and general construction disputes. He practices in both federal and state courts, as well as in arbitration tribunals. Jonathan is knowledgeable about insurance coverage provided under contractor’s commercial general liability policies, builder’s risk policies, performance and payment bonds and other forms of insurance. 

He has handled construction failure cases involving total or partial structural collapses, as well as lesser degrees of structural and non-structural damage.

He regularly addresses general construction disputes involving lost profits, delay damages, liquidated damages, extras, terminations, warranty and workmanship claims, mechanics’ liens and miscellaneous contractual disputes.
