Profile

Dana is the Chair of the Injunction and Insurance Groups, as well as a member of the Litigation group. She primarily focuses her practice on representing commercial and business clients in complex contract challenges and business disputes.  Dana has particular experience in counseling on shareholder and corporate rights, as well as litigating business divorces. Additionally, a large part of her practice involves representing clients in urgent matters requiring injunctive relief.  As chair of the Injunction Group, she coordinates the resources of that Group to ensure that client needs are met when emergencies arise. Dana routinely handles contract, non-competition, corporate governance and other emergent business disputes requiring immediate injunctive relief. In her capacity as Chair of the Insurance Group, she regularly counsels clients on coverage issues and disputes.

What does Dana do for Clients?
Dana’s view of any dispute, whether purely business or involving family matters, is practical. Dana counsels clients on every aspect of a case and advises how to approach a situation so that the client gets the best possible result for them, whether that means heading to court or facilitating an out of court resolution. Much of Dana’s practice includes pre-litigation and/or pre-deal strategy, so that the matter can be set up for ultimate success and handled in the most efficient, cost effective manner possible. While she appreciates that not every client desires to litigate, Dana is at heart a trial lawyer, and is not afraid handle a matter before a court, mediator, or arbitrator.

How does Dana spend her free time?
In her free time, Dana enjoys spending time with her young daughter and dog.  She also enjoys donating her time to the Pennsylvania Legal Aid Network, where she sits on the Executive Committee as Treasurer for the Board of Directors.
