HARRISBURG, PA (May 8th, 2015) – Devin J. Chwastyk presented “The Legal Landscape for IT: E-Discovery, Data Security, and Privacy Issues” at the Pennsylvania Chamber of Business & Industry IT Security Conference at the Eden Resort Inn & Suites, Lancaster, PA 17601 on Thursday, May 7, 2015.
Chwastyk, Of Counsel in the McNees Litigation Practice Group, focuses his practice on complex commercial litigation, with an emphasis on class actions, privacy and data security, constitutional law, intellectual property disputes, and appellate litigation. He counsels the firm’s clients in data breaches, including rectifying, investigating, and reporting hacking and other data exposure events, and has represented parties in leading data breach litigation nationwide.
Chwastyk received his J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center and his undergraduate degree from The Pennsylvania State University. He is a member of the Pennsylvania and Dauphin County Bar Associations, where he serves as Vice-Chair of the Equal Professional Opportunity Committee and on the Board of Directors.
